My story
Meet Hank the Hound!  I’m a sweet, older beagle mix that somehow found myself at the shelter, and my owners never came to get me. I lived there for a month, but then Renegade Paws Rescue came and got me just in time for the holidays. I have not had any accidents at my foster home, and I ring bells with my nose or my paw to let them know if I need to go outside. I love spending time in the yard with my foster sister, taking in all the great smells. I enjoy going for walks, but can be a bit stubborn if there is something I want to stop and sniff. After a good walk, and playing with my foster sister I like to take a long nap. I will sleep in a crate, but also enjoy sleeping on a blanket or bed on the floor. I am dog friendly, and I really love the humans in my foster home. I am always smiling and wagging my tail at them, and I am so appreciative of all the pets they give me. I am a very quiet hound, other than some of the snoring when I sleep. If you are looking for a sweet, gentle, easing going hound, I am definitely your guy. Hank is heart worm positive, and is currently undergoing treatment.
